CareQuest Innovation Partners and MATTER have created SMILE Health, an initiative to validate and scale solutions to improve communities' oral health. Grin, with its innovative technology and unique approach to oral health, was chosen to participate in the 2023 SMILE Health cohort from over 100 applicants from 11 different countries.

Grin joined four other emerging game-changers, Lura Health, Biolectrics, Incisive Technologies, and Kare Mobile Inc., who share the dedication to revolutionizing oral healthcare by enhancing accessibility and convenience for both patients and clinicians.

What is SMILE Health, and why is it important?

SMILE Health's foundation is built on accessibility, equity, and integration with overall health. This program aims to revolutionize the landscape of oral healthcare by providing care options that expand racial, socioeconomic, and geographical equity and integrate solutions to align traditional “medical” treatment better and oral health to improve health outcomes. The program works with its participant startups through an in-depth curriculum, access to top-tier experts, and, most importantly, the chance to introduce their solutions to new potential markets and use cases aligned with the SMILE Health mission.

What being named a 2023 SMILE Health Cohort means for Grin.

Grin's founders, Dr. Adam Schulhof, COO Pamela Oren-Artzi, and CTO Yarden Eilat, completed the 10-week program with CareQuest Innovation Partners. They worked to test and refine solutions, business models, and product-market fit in real-world settings. Their dedication reflects Grin's commitment to making healthcare more equitable and accessible. Dr. Adam Schulhof was privileged to present at the first-ever Systemic Health Innovation Showcase during the #HLTH2023 conference held in October. This platform allowed Grin to share its mission while engaging with industry experts and healthcare professionals dedicated to improving oral healthcare. Grin partnered with organizations, such as Delta Dental, Young Innovations, and Apple Tree Dental, to showcase how Grin helps connect people to their oral health by democratizing oral care.

Grin is proud to be at the forefront of conversations that drive positive change. It remains committed to empowering consumers to take control of their oral health and championing a more equitable, accessible, and integrated health system. Grin is honored to have contributed to the transformative solutions shaping the future of oral care.

We thank CareQuest Innovation Partners for this incredible opportunity and recognition through the prestigious program. As part of the #SMILE2023 cohorts, we are honored to have contributed to the transformative solutions shaping the future of oral care.
